Well this is interesting, I just found out that on my property here near Benson's is the remains of an elephant and other larger animals. I've got pictures of me and my cousin visiting Benson's circa 1948. We are photographed in front of a large elephant statue - then white. What ever happened to the elephant? Also, does anyone recall a statue of an elk nearby (looks to be bronze metal)? Thanks and much appreciation to creators... (more)

I remember going to Benson's a couple times in the mid '70's. I was raised on a farm in NH and found it a challenge to catch one of the Canada geese around Benson's Lake. I think I was 12 at the time. I was able to catch a young goose (no harm done) much to the anger of momma goose. Several people... (more)

I completely forgot about this place until the Dane Cook special. I went there all the time when I was 1 and 2. I went to go for my 3rd birthday and they closed.
