I've got pictures of me and my cousin visiting Benson's circa 1948. We are photographed in front of a large elephant statue - then white. What ever happened to the elephant? I remember going to Benson's a couple times in the mid '70's. I was raised on a farm in NH and found it a challenge to catch one of the Canada geese around Benson's Lake.
