does anyone know how to reach the folks who do the animal tricks show at the southwick zoo? i would love to see if they do birthday parties with the dogs!

I love looking at all the old pictures - Benson's was a huge part of my younger years - We visited on a regular basis as we were growing up - I hoped to be able to take my children there as they were growing up to be able to experience the magic.............

The gorilla was named Tony then changed to Colossus. When the park closed he was sold to the former zoologist Pat Quinn who opened a park in florida, from there he was sold to a zoo in Ohio where he later died.

I have access to one of the old cars with a motor we used to be able to drive around the track at Benson's. Good ole days. Are there any collectors looking for one of these? I don't think I want to store it.

I worked at Bensons the summer of 84-86 I would not change those years for the world. Benson's was the best place to work for a kid . I worked in the gift shop in the park next to Gary the clown.
