OMG, this took me back to fun memories from my childhood. We lived in Lowell, Mass so we went quite often. It is july 18th 2009 and we went to the Bensons clean up and had a walk through. We saw many people doing brush removal arround the buildings and I have to say for the first time I can see that bensons animal farm is in need of much repair but, is on its way to becomming a great area for people to... We had a very good day at the park today. we got a lot done!It's starting to look real good. I'll be there all day tomorow starting at 8:00 am Stop by and help out, it's lots of fun. Best part: free pizza and cold drinks !! And sore body at end of day!! Will also be there next week end 8:00am... (more)

I'm so happy to hear about all the activity and that there is actually a plan to clear and clean up the property and make it something again - other than a lot of overgrown weeds hiding the memories!! I would love to help if there are any volunteer groups please use my email to keep me posted.

I think that the town should put in a dog park on the Benson's property. I take my dog to the one in Derry and Most of the people there are from the Hudson Area. Benson's is for the citizens of Hudson and this would be a great use of the town property

I also went there as a kid. My great uncle worked there in the early years at the gate and I worked there one season as the ride supervisor under Arthur and Connie and also Jay and Cathy Knox and Jay Crowley and Jim Crowley.
